Croton-Harmon HS Students Earn Honors At Science, Engineering Fair

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Croton-Harmon High School science research students recently won awards at the annual Westchester Science and Engineering Fair at Sleepy Hollow High School in March.

The following students earned awards:

  • Sara Spencer — Arizona State University Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiative awarded for innovative solutions to sustainability challenges (certificate) and nomination for opportunity to participate in sustainability competition at ASU
  • Jacy Pare and Jacob Ross — National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Award, awarded to projects whose research emphasizes NOAA's mission of Science, Service and Stewardship (Medallions) and Teatown Young Conservationist Award for projects that aim to protect natural habitats and/or ecosystems ($50) generously donated by Teatown Lake Reservation
  • Emily Grossman — third place in the Medicine and Health category ($50) sponsored by Psychogenics Pharmaceuticals
