CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Cortlandt residents interested in how the closure of Indian Point may affect them and what is being done to mitigate the impact, will want to attend a forum Wednesday with Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino.
The forum, the first "Ask Astorino" meeting since the announcement of the closure, will offer residents a chance to ask questions about the impact.
In addition to Astorino, Cortlandt Town Supervisor Linda Puglisi, will also participate.
Astorino will focus on Indian Point, and where the community goes from here in addition to providing an update on his work to provide tax relief, preserve essential services and promote economic development.
Following his presentation, Astorino will open the floor to questions from residents.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady St.
