A few of the roads recently paved are Cortlandt’s portion of Lexington Avenue, Watch Hill Road, the second half of Colabaugh Road. (the first half was done in 2014) and Fox Hill Road, said Town Supervisor Linda Puglisi.

Puglisi said that a total of 14 roads have been paved to date. The roads are selected by a town committee and sent to the Town Board for its vote, she added.

“An important part of this report is that the Town of Cortlandt has not had to borrow money for these resurfacing projects each year during this administration," she said. "We have paid fully each year from our town’s highway budget and therefore, have not added to any town debt. Our town debt is the lowest it’s been in 30 years."
