CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Cortlandt now has its fourth ever Master Plan set forth by the Cortlandt Town Board the previous week, reported The Examiner News.
Envison Cortlandt is the name of the multi-page document that has 205 policies and 29 goals, said The Examiner News.
The plan helped Cortlandt get the Planning Federation award for its "thorough planning," reported the Examiner News. Another New York municipality won it also, the report said.
The town was given a grant of $175,000 to initiate its carrying out of the Master Plan, according to the Examiner News.
A committee has been assembled to come up with ways to“embrace and enhance its historical roots and the Hudson River.” Examiner News said.
