Cops: Confused Man Breaks Into Cortlandt Business

CORTLANDT, N.Y. – A Peekskill man smashed a window of a business at 2158 Crompond Road in Cortlandt, then went into the building and couldn’t find his way out, the New York State Police said.

Steven J. Cilento, 26, was severely disoriented and had no idea where he was or how to leave the building, Sgt. James Kranik said. Cilento was charged with misdemeanor trespass and mischief.

The following items were also reported by the New York State Police:

Driving While Intoxicated: Eusebio J. Martinez, 25, of Peekskill was charged with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of greater than 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, police said. The incident was logged about 6:20 a.m. Sunday, April 15.

Petty Larceny: Amanda E. Rodrigues, 23, of Ossining was charged with misdemeanor petty larceny at the Cortlandt Town Center. The incident was reported about 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 16.

Petty Larceny: Anthony J. Conti, 52, of Garrison was charged with petty larceny at the Cortlandt Town Center about 3 p.m. Friday, April 13.

Petty Larceny: Joyce S. Bass, 21, of Peekskill and Elaina M. Male, 18, of Peekskill were each charged with one count of misdemeanor petty larceny at 3131 E. Main St., Cortlandt, at 6:45 p.m. Friday, April 13.

Petty Larceny: Yesenia Reyes, 23, of Wingdale, N.Y., was charged with misdemeanor petty larceny at 3008 E. Main St., Cortlandt, just after 10 p.m. Thursday, April 12.
