Matthew Tivy, the 54-year-old chef and owner of Café du Soleil, faces charges of sex with a minor and distribution of child porn, said the Daily News.

A criminal complaint in Manhattan Federal Court states that authorities learned of the alleged act by the chef after the NYPD arrested him in May for sexual abuse of a minor, added the Daily News.

Investigators learned of another encounter with a student after examining Tivy’s cell phone. Tivy allegedly arranged meeting the boys through the app Grindr, said the Daily News.

Judge Henry Pitman ordered the chef held without bail because he presented a “danger to the community," the paper reported.
