WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- An accident blocked the right lane on I-287 in White Plains, resulting in stop-and-go traffic Thursday evening.

The accident, between Exit 7 (Taconic State Parkway) and Exit 5 (Route 119), was reported at 5:50 p.m.
