BUCHANAN, N.Y. -- About 12 protesters were placed under arrest on trespassing charges during a demonstration against a natural gas pipeline on Saturday, News 12 reports.
The demonstrators are concerned about the pipeline's proximity to the Indian Point nuclear power plant, according to News 12.
The protesters, who have alleged that two of the nuclear facility’s reactors are unlicensed, want the plant to be shut down and inspected, News 12 reports.
