Croton's Josephine DiCioccio Dies at 78

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Josephine DiCioccio of Croton-on-Hudson died March 24 at the age of 78. 

Born in Ossining to Joseph and Mary DeRocco, she was married to the late Raymond DiCioccio. She worked for Human Relations Media in Pleasantville. DiCioccio had a great love and dedication to her family and she enjoyed cooking and watching old films. 

She was predeceased by her sisters Ann D’Adamo and Helen Slater. DiCioccio is survived by her son Ray and his fiancée Jennifer, her sister Ida Daggett and many nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive visitors from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Leach and Thomas Funeral Home in Ossining. The funeral mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Ann’s Parish in Ossining, followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
