Zinn will be performing with the HaZamir Choir, an international Jewish High School Choir, at  Lincoln Center on March 26, as part of the Annual HaZamir Festival. Zinn is a member of the HaZamir Westchester chapter which rehearses in White Plains.

The teenager, who attends Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School, was discovered when she was singing at Congregation Sons of Israel in Briarcliff.

"A woman on their board heard me sing and recommended that I join HaZamir," Zinn said.

Zinn has been singing since she was two and performing at her synagogue since she was in 3rd grade.

"It's very calming, it's something I really enjoy," Zinn said. "I like to sing Jewish music and I also like singing pop music as well."

HaZamir will mostly be singing choir pieces and Zinn said she is looking forward to performing one piece called "Jerusalem of Gold."  She said she was "super surprised" when she found out she was going to be performing at Lincoln Center.

"I was shocked," Zinn said. "I know a lot of people dream about performing there."

Zinn, who once went to Lincoln Center to see a ballet, said performing with a big choir will help calm her nerves.

"I'm going to be super excited," Zinn said. "I mean, it's Lincoln Center."
