BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Billionaire investor George Soros is marrying Tamiko Bolton today at his estate in Bedford.
Soros, 82, and Bolton, 41, met in 2008 and became engaged in August 2012, when Soros presented her with a giant Graff diamond at his Southampton mansion.
It will be the third marriage for Soros and the second for Bolton, a health care and education consultant.
Bolton's dress has been designed by U.S.-based, Lebanon-born designer Reem Acra, whose gowns have shown up on the red carpet on many stars, including Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez, according to Reuters.
Kimba Wood, a federal judge, will perform the non-denominational ceremony, according to Reuters.
The ceremony will be followed by a reception at an arts center in nearby Katonah, Reuters said. Soros reportedly is using local vendors in and around New York City, according to the New York Daily News.
Soros, who also is a philanthropist and active supporter of liberal political causes, has five children from his previous marriages, to Annaliese Witschak, whom he split with in 1983, and Susan Weber Soros, whom he parted with in 2005.
In the past three decades, Soros, who has a net worth approximated at $20 billion, has given away more than $7 billion to promote democracy, foster free speech, improve education and fight poverty around the world, according to his foundation's website.
