The Village Voice began their tour of the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail by hiking from Irvington to Ossining, checking out Lyndhurst Mansion and visiting the New Croton Dam, which was the tallest dam in the world when it was completed in 1917.

While in Ossining, the Village Voice recommends dining at Churrasqueira Ribatejo or checking out The Boat and 6 Degrees of Separation.

The Sing Sing Prison exhibit at the Caputo Community Center is also worth a visit, the Village Voice said.
