County Center Offers Fresh Food, Live Music At 'Main Street Market'

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – The Main Street Market will offer fresh food, live music and artisan-made products.

The event at Westchester County Center in White Plains will be held on Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Additional market dates are Feb. 8 and March 22.

Vendors are bringing local foods such as cheeses, pickles, meats, baked goods and wine as well as products like hand-made jewelry, soaps and body butters.

Musician Jon Cobert will perform his renditions of songs spanning various eras including music by Cole Porter, Tom Petty and The Beatles. He's recorded and toured with some of the biggest names in music including John Lennon, Tom Chapin and Harry Chapin. 

Admission is free.

Parking fees apply at the County Center lots. A list of vendors and valuable coupons are available at countycenter.biz.    

The Main Street Market is sponsored by Westchester County Parks and Friends of Westchester County Parks, Inc. The Westchester County Center is at 198 Central Park Ave. in White Plains.
