CORTLANDT, N.Y. - Here's a list of events happening around Cortlandt this weekend.

Friday, August 3

Fleetwood Macked: 8 p.m. This tribute band will perform Fleetwood Mac hits at Senasqua Park in Croton.

Peekskill Celebration: The celebration at Peekskill's Riverfront Green Park begins Friday. There will be live music, food, dragon boat races and fireworks. Check the Peekskill Celebration website for schedule of events and details. The celebration ends Saturday. Admission to the Riverfront Green Park is free. 

Saturday, August 4

Gone Batty: 7:30 p.m. Learn about bats and white-nose syndrome at Teatown Lake Reservation. The group will head outside at dusk to listen for bats with a bat-detector device. This program is for families with children over ages 6, the program is free for members and $5 for non-members. Call Teatown to register, at 914-762-2912 ext. 110, or stop by 1600 Spring Valley Road, Ossining.

Home Run Derby: This event benefits Support Connect, which provides free support services to people affected by breast cancer and women affected by ovarian cancer. A shuttle bus will be available all day from the Peekskill Celebration to the Peekskill Stadium on Louisa Street. There is a $10 donation for spectators and $25 for participants. There will be music and a concessions stand.

Sunday, August 5

Install Window Treatments Workshop: 1-2:30 p.m. This workshop takes place at the Mohegan Lake Home Depot and includes correct measurements for window treatments, faux blinds and window tint. Annual Small Press Celebration: 4:30 p.m. Meet members of First Inkling, the Westchester Review and other small presses around the county, to celebrate the importance of small presses. The afternoon will include readings and talks. This event takes place at the Hudson Valley Writers' Center, 300 Riverside Drive, Sleepy Hollow, admission is $15.
