CORTLANDT, N.Y. - Below is a list of events happening around the Town of Cortlandt this weekend, including the Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association's 90th Anniversary Parade down Route 6. Check out our events page for even more events this weekend. 

Friday, Sept. 14

Hudson Stage Company Presents, "The God Game" 7:30 p.m. By Suzanne Bradbeer, "The God Game" takes place over the course of a summer weekend, when Tom, a rising political star, is asked to be his party’s vice-presidential nominee. There is only one condition: Tom must “sound more Christian” on the campaign trail. This performance will be immediately followed by a Q&A session with participating artists. The performance will take place at the Croton Free Library, 171 Cleveland Drive, Croton-on-Hudson.

Saturday, Sept. 15

Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association Parade 2 p.m. The Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association will host its 90th Anniversary Parade, in conjunction with the 106th Annual Westchester County Volunteer Fireman’s Association Convention on Saturday. The parade will begin on Route 6 at the Van Cortlandtville Elementary School (opposite Cortlandt Town Center), travel Route 6 to Westbrook Drive and end at Mohegan’s Hollowbrook Fire Station on Oregon Road.

"A Concert to Make You Happy" 11 a.m. Join Sukey Molloy for an hour of sing-along fun with songs to make you happy. Sukey is an award- winning recording artist known for her gentle, intimate, up-close entertaining style. The performance is for families with children ages 1 to 5, and takes place at the Croton Free Library, 171 Cleveland Drive, Croton-on-Hudson.

Peekskill City-Wide Tag Sale Check out the City of Peekskill's calendar for a complete list of addresses participating in this city-wide tag sale. 

Hawk Watch Watch for hawks migrating along the Hudson River Flyway, with Teatown Lake Reservation educator Erin Baker and a feathered friend. The program is free and takes place at the Kathryn W. Davis RiverWalk Center, Kinsland Point Park, Sleepy Hollow. Registration is strongly recommended, call 914-762-2912 ext. 110 to reserve.

Croton Point Park Siening 1 p.m. This method of fishing employs a net with weights on one side. Use it to explore the rich biodiversity of the Hudson River up close and see fish, eels, crabs and more. This program is great for families with kids ages 6 and older, and takes place at the Croton Point Park Nature Center.

Sunday, Sept. 16

Road Knights Car Show 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The Road Knights host the 30th annual car show at Peekskill's Riverfront Green Park. There will be food, music and hundreds of categories.

Fall Plantings and Lawn Maintenance 10 a.m. The Home Depot in Mohegan Lake hosts a free workshop on controlling weeds and adding color to your landscape with cold-loving vegetables, herbs and flowers. The Home Depot is located at 3131 E. Main St., Mohegan Lake.
