Monday, July 23

Cortlandt Town Board Work Session 7 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Charles Cook Memorial Pool in Cortlandt, 293 Furnace Dock Road, Cortlandt. The Town Board will discuss possible future legislation, no legislative action will likely be taken.

Croton Village Board Work Session 7:30 p.m. The Croton Village Board will meet to discuss possible future legislation, no legislative action will likely be taken. Work sessions do not include a portion for public comment. The meeting will take place at the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building, 1 Van Wyck St., Croton-on-Hudson.

Tuesday, July 24

Cortlandt Town Board Meeting 7:30 p.m. The Cortlandt Town Board will meet to take legislative action. The meeting will take place at Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady St., Cortlandt.

Pajama Story Time 7 p.m. Children ages 3-and-a-half to 5-years-old are encouraged to wear pajamas and bring a stuffed animal to the Hendrick Hudson Free Library, 185 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose.

Midnight Snacks  4 p.m. For children ages 4 to 6-years-old can come to the Hendrick Hudson Free Library to hear night-time tales and make an edible craft. Wednesday, July 25

Outdoor Summer Movie Series Families can gather at Senasqua Park in Croton to watch "Cars 2." Movies begin at dusk, and families are encouraged to bring a blanket and a picnic. Admission is free.

Duct Tape and Pizza Party 5 p.m. Teens from sixth-grade up can get creative with Lindsay Carpenter in this four-week workshop as she shows you how to make wallets, bags, ties, bracelets with a variety of colors and patterns of duct tape. Join us for pizza, cartoons, and a great way to spend a summer evening! Attend all or some of the sessions. Thursday, July 26

Family Entertainment Series 7 p.m. Families can enjoy live music performed by Squeaky Clean in Croton's Vassallo Park. This band is geared toward kids and will perform hits from the 50s and 60s, like "Surfin' USA," "Rockin' Robin," and "Rock Around the Clock." Admission is free.

Matinee Movie 1:30 p.m. The Hendrick Hudson Free Library will screen "The Iron Lady," starring Meryl Streep. Admission is free, and the movie is rated PG-13. The library is at 185 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose.
