Breckenridge Tap Takeover 6-9 p.m. The Green Growler Grocery will offer a free tasting of Breckenridge beers, including Agave Wheat, Vanilla Porter and Autumn Ale to name a few. The Green Growler is at 368 S. Riverside Ave., Croton-on-Hudson.
River Lovers Potluck Supper 6:30 p.m. All are welcome at this environmental group's meeting at Croton Point Park Nature Center.
"Pow!" The History of Superhero Movies 7:30 p.m. From Saturday-morning series to box-office blockbuster, author and film historian Clive Young takes a look at the humble beginnings of the superhero in this film. This event is free and takes place at the Croton Free Library, 171 Cleveland Drive, Croton-on-Hudson.

Native Snakes of the Hudson Hills and Highlands 10-11:30 a.m. Learn how to identify the most common snakes in our area at the educational class at Teatown Lake Reservation. N.Y. Firehouse Grille Reopens Noon. This Peekskill restaurant will reopen with a ribbon cutting, raffles and giveaways to welcome new customers. A tribute to the restaurant's name, a 10 percent discount is offered every day to emergency medical personnel, paramedics, firefighters, teachers and active duty military. The restaurant is at 50 Welcher Ave., Peekskill.

J-Baby presents "Tug of Wills: How to Manage Difficult Behavior" 10 a.m. to noon. Parents can learn general principals of discipline from an expert at the seminar, presented by the Rosenthal JCC of Northern Westchester, 2966 Crompond Road, Yorktown.
