Pop Superstar Rick Springfield To Get Up Close And Personal In Peekskill

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Grammy-winning chart-topping artist Rick Springfield, of “Jessie’s Girl” fame, will stop at the Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill on Saturday, Feb. 28, for a special music and storytelling performance.

Springfield’s “The Stripped Down Tour” was created to bring an intimate performance to fans, with personal stories about his music and life sprinkled throughout the show and a live question and answer session with the audience, according to a press release.

Springfield, a native of Australia who has been making music for more than three decades, had 17 top-40 hits during his glory days as an 80’s pop icon. He is also an actor and best-selling author.

“I put everything I’ve got into making records,” Springfield said in a press release.

“Sometimes people may think they have you pegged but I trust the music to speak for itself.”

Tickets range from $50 to $65. The show will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Paramount Hudson Valley, 1008 Brown St., Peekskill.
