Darryl Anderson, 24, called Home Goods on Connecticut Avenue on Wednesday, Jan. 20, and told the manager that he would shoot employees there if the store didn’t fire his girlfriend, Norwalk police said.
After securing the store with the help of the Stamford Police Department’s K-9 bomb unit and determining that there were no explosives inside, police said they staked out the girlfriend’s house on Lenox Avenue.
Anderson was spotted hiding behind a tree in her yard and arrested without incident, police said.
Anderson now faces charges of first-degree threatening, third-degree criminal trespass, second-degree stalking, and second-degree breach of peace, police said.
He was held on a bond of $75,000, police said.
Anderson was scheduled to appear in court Thursday, Jan. 21, police said.
