Proceeds from the evening at Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Briarcliff Manor went to support the hospital’s Ashikari Breast Center. Nearly 450 tickets were sold.

“We thank everyone who supported this outstanding cause,’’ said Hospital President John Federspiel. “The Ashikari Breast Center offers quality cancer care in part due to the research and sharing of best practices that events like this help to support.’’

Proceeds from past years’ events paid for symposiums that brought together area oncologists, surgeons and other medical professionals to share best practices and the latest techniques in cancer treatment.

All of the restaurateurs generously contributed both time and all of the food items adding to the success of the event. Among those participating were Xaviars Restaurant, Cedar Street Grill; Elia Taverna; 105 Ten Bar & Grill; Cathryn’s Tuscan Grill, Villa Barone, Winery at St. George and many others. RoseMarie Panio served as the event chair.

In addition to fine foods, local distributors, including Panio Wines and Depot Wine and Liquors, provided a wide variety of wines for tasting. Bull and Barrel Brew Pub and Captain Lawrence offered tastings of local craft beer and Star Vodka served its premium vodka.

The Ashikari Breast Center has earned a well-deserved reputation nationwide for expertise and successful outcomes.
