The Veterans Health Administration's nationwide event is dedicated to reducing the number of patients currently waiting the longest for care, as well as promoting continuous improvements in the VA's health care system.
A team of clinical leaders will be onsite at the Montrose and Castle Point campuses to focus on the backlog in dermatology, neurology, radiology and urology.
After Access Stand Down is finished, the VHA will conduct a review to identify successes, find gaps and see how their insights can be used in the future to improve healthcare access for veterans.
