The formal event, held in October at the Mansion at Colonial Terrace in Cortlandt Manor, took its guests into the world of Alice in Wonderland.

The evening included a Cheshire cat contortionist, an acrobat duo, a paso doble dance performance, and a group dance lesson.

Guests bid on 20 silent auction items, which raised $1,500 to benefit the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

The funds are earmarked for research into neuroblastoma, a common childhood cancer that currently does not have any effective treatment options available.
