CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- "Seniors and Hoarding It’s More Common Than You Think" is the name of a presentation coming on Thursday, April 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Adult Day Care Center at Fieldhome.
The presentation will be given by Salvatore M. Di Costanzo, of Maker, Fragale and Di Costanzo; Anne Pagano, executive director, Hoarding Disorder Research and Training Group; Samantha D’Avella, director, Adult Day Care Center at Fieldhome.
Hoarding among seniors is a common problem, and in many cases affects people who previously showed no symptoms of the disease. This presentation will discuss the warning signs for hoarding and the various reasons for the behavior, as well as provide ways to compassionately help someone with hoarding issues.
RSVP by April 25 by contacting Patti Horvath, director of Community Outreach, at 914-739-2244 or email@example.com. Fieldhome is at 2300 Catherine St. in Cortlandt Manor.
