A woman has been accused of petit larceny after stealing merchandise from a Long Island retailer, police say.

Police are on the lookout for a woman suspected of stealing various cosmetics valued at $500 from Walgreens in Islandia (1860 Veterans Memorial Highway) on Tuesday, Oct. 1 around 3 p.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are on the lookout for a woman, pictured above, who is suspected of stealing various cosmetics from Walgreens in Islandia (1860 Veterans Memorial Highway) on Tuesday, Oct. 1 around 3 p.m.

The merchandise was valued at approximately $500, according to police.
