Michael Timlin, owner of RT Smoke and Gun on Sixth Avenue, said gun owners tend to stock up after such incidents out of fear that their guns rights will be attacked, according to News 12.

Their fears are not entirely unfounded, according to News 12, which reported that Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand has called for additional gun control legislation since the Orlando shooting that killed 49 people in a night club.
