Weston Man, 82, Charged With Passing $15K In Bad Checks In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- An 82-year-old Weston man was arrested on charges of writing two bad checks worth thousands of dollars to New Canaan businesses back in the fall, police said.

New Canaan police charged Frank Geiger, of 28 Spring Valley Road, Weston, with two counts of issuing bad checks. He was released on a promise to appear in Norwalk court on March 3.

Police said Geiger issued a bad check for $10,000 on Sept. 25 and then a $5,000 bad check to a second business on Oct. 7.
