Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber Celebrates 100 Years With Gala

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- One hundred guests attended the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce 100th anniversary celebration held at The Mansion at Colonial Terrace on Saturday.

Honorees included 20 businesses, organizations and institutions that have served the community for at least 100 years.

Also in attendance, Al Collins, a 100-year-old Peekskill resident who recited the pledge of allegiance, Virginia Anzovino, the first female executive director of the chamber, and Deborah Milone, the current executive director.

The majority of chamber members are businesses in Buchanan, Croton-On-Hudson, Cortlandt Manor, Peekskill and Putnam Valley.
