International beat-boxer/body percussionist/guitarist Michael Feigenbaum, who has just returned from choreographing the world’s biggest show “The Han Show” in China, will be featured, along with Brian Delma Taylor, a flute player and composer living in Peekskill. The show will feature Kate Ciulla, a young singer from the Hendrick Hudson Blue Mountain Middle School.

The Daisy Joplin Band is poised to record its new album “String Pulse,” and embark on a world tour including 25 shows in China, 35 shows in Norway, shows in Mexico, the U.S., and in Vienna’s gold-plated Musikverein Concert Hall in Austria.

Their tour kicks off with performance at the Winery St. George. The band performs a mix of rock, classical and world music. “String Pulse” will be the band's first album with solely original compositions by Jopling.

Jopling started her career by playing a Bach concerto in the Royal Albert Hall in London at the age of 14, and has continued to perform worldwide with countless musicians including Bobby McFerrin, Joe Zawinul, Hans Zimmer, and Omara Portuondo from the Buena Vista Social Club. Since living in the Hudson Valley, Joplin has become passionate about music education, and often invites young talented musicians to join her and her band on stage.

Joplin's “String Pulse” music originates from a collaboration with Feigenbaum,

Winery St. George is at 1715 E. Main Street Route 6, Mohegan Lake.
