In addition to the cars on display, Croton's Famous Chili Cook-Off will be held among competing Croton restaurants to decide the best chili in the village.
Other activities include raffles, entertainment, a bouncy castle and Elmsford Raceway Slot Cars. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. “In this milestone year, we are thrilled once again to present this family-focused event for Croton residents and visitors alike," said Croton Rotary Foundation Chairman Mark Franzoso.
"All of the proceeds raised go towards worthwhile charities, so it's a win-win for the community. We invite everyone to spend the day among these very special cars and find out who wins bragging rights for having the best chili in town." Admission is $5 per person, $10 per family and children under 12 free.
Proceeds benefit the Gift of Life – Savings Kids' Lives, Croton Caring Committee, Cortlandt Food Bank, Croton Free Library, Croton School Projects, Croton Little League, Red Cross, Croton Families In Need and others. Owners of classic and collectible automobiles can register their cars and compete for trophies for best of show and other specialty awards. Judging will be conducted by the Road Knights Auto Club and participating car owners will receive a commemorative dash plaque. Registration fees are $15 per car by Wednesday, Sept. 24, and $20 per car on the day of the show with registration from 9 a.m. to noon.
