Cortlandt's Halloween Masquerade Ball Will Raise Money For Cancer Awareness

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- The Kathleen F. Marks Memorial Foundation’s third annual Halloween Masquerade Ball formal will take place at The Mansion at Colonial Terrace in Cortlandt Manor on the evening of Friday, Oct. 24.

The event will start at 6:30 p.m. and continue until midnight. Dinner, ballroom dance performances and group-led dancing will be provided by Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Dutchess, more unique entertainment and surprises, in addition to the third annual silent auction are just a few of the items in the night’s agenda.

All of the proceeds from the event will benefit Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center division of neroblastoma research, a rare childhood cancer, which often affects children from birth.

The first two Masquerade Balls provided a unique experience including entertainment such as fire dancers greeting guests as they entered the venue, aerial performances in the ballroom, ballroom dance performances, ballet solo and jugglers. Tickets will be available online through the foundation website www.KFMFoundation.Org and are available to the public now. More than 50 seats have already been filled by past guests and seating for the event is limited.

Order forms and phone orders will also be taken upon request by calling 914-497-9308. Seating is limited and in high demand so guests are urged to order early.
