A free orientation with light refreshments to introduce residents to the work model will be held Wednesday, June 24 from 5:30-7 p.m. at The Flatz, 1008 Main Street, Peekskill.
Tillitt and Flaherty hold a shared vision to build community, drive traffic to Peekskill and support the local economy.
Coworking provides a creative work environment for entrepreneurs, freelancers, microbusinesses and consultants. People work in a shared space, alone and together. Beahive is a community of members from diverse backgrounds, talents and abilities, all with a desire to grow professionally. Memberships will be available starting in July 2015.
The Flatz will be home to the fourth location of the work model. The space at The Flatz will include rentable desks, a shared conference room and private offices.
“The Beahive concept is really inspiring,” says Erik Contzius, owner of local digital marketing agency, ZingMap. “I run my own agency, and to have people to bounce ideas off of and hang out with really gets my creative juices flowing. The space at The Flatz is gorgeous.”
