The contest is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26  at The Irvington Town Hall Theater.

Maroulis joins Broadway's Angela Decicco, known for her performances in "Les Miserables" and "Evita" along with Dan Montez, the artistic director of Taconic Opera.

Maroulis recently released the singles, "Here I Come," and "She's Just Rock 'N Roll," from his upcoming album and is producing Broadway’s revival of Deaf West's "Spring Awakening."

Ray and Carol Arrucci auditioned more than 100 contestants from across the Tri-State area and narrowed the field to 25 competitors for the show, which will be hosted by local reporter Peter Kramer.
