How about nothing for a change
actually i would of loved a super walmart, but guess thats not happening. so mabe another big name store, or a big name restaurant like the olive garden.
TARGET!!!!
I would LOVE to see a Trader Joes or Whole Food! Bring in one of those to that spot, an IKEA to the Circuit City spot and we'll maybe see things look up. I've pretty much had it with S&S's expired stuff on the shelves and A&P's cold and frozen foods having issues. Let's bring in someplace that really wants our $$...
My initial thought was a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, but a roller rink or some other kid friendly space would be great too! Especially if it includes something for the pre-school set.
I agree with Tcarroll1014, something like the NEW ROC CITY!!
Trader joes or whole foods
I'd like to see a roller rink or arcade. We need more things for children and teens to do, besides just going to the movie theater or hanging out at the mall or in gas station parking lots. We've got more than enough nail salons, delis, and pizzerias in the area. I don't think we need any more, especially since there are both a Domino's and a Pizza Hut in either direction from the area, a pizzeria right next to the movie theater, a pizzeria at the end of Westbrook Drive, one right across the street from Shoprite, and one in Miranda Plaza next to Shell on Oregon Road. That's 6 within a 2 mile radius! There's 3 alone in Shrub Oak!
Multicultural supermarket Foodmart which carries similar items as Traders Joes in Spring Valley just filed for bankruptcy maybe they would do better in Cortlandt.
Nail, pizza, and deli shops would be nice they would fit in with all the others. Have no fear Bloomingdale's will not be there.
I think, in my opinion, as I have had several problems with them, but Radio Shack should not be here at all. whenever you need something, you have to mail order for it in Texas. When I need something for a machine I bought from them, I need it now not in 10 days, besides they always seem to have an item for a year, then it becomes obsolete. cellphone in particular, first it was cellular one, then some other carrier then a different carrier and they don't honor the original contract as they don't carry that carrier anymore.
ida why a radioshack there is one down the street
Trader Joe's, Christmas Tree Shoppe, Mrs. Greene's
Trader Joe's
Carvel - The Avenue - Radioshack
There is a Carvel at the end of Westbrook Drive and one across the street from the J.V. Mall. We don't need another Carvel and the ones that are already around are fine where they are.
