Westmed Medical Group Signs Lease For Space In Purchase

PURCHASE, N.Y. – WESTMED Medical Group has signed a lease for a new 85,000-square foot-building on Westchester Avenue in Purchase.

The building is under construction by Simone Healthcare Development and Fareri Associates in the Harrison Executive Medical Park complex.

“This transaction represents an expansion of our practice,” said Dr. Simeon Schwartz, president and chief executive officer of the WESTMED Medical Group. “We’re happy to have the confidence and support of the community, and this new space will enable us to provide our coordinated, efficient and highest quality care to meet the needs of a growing number of patients.”

WESTMED’s Medical Director Dr. Barney Newman said, “This will be WESTMED’s fifth full-service outpatient medical office complete with all primary and specialty care services, advanced radiology, clinical laboratory services and state-of-the-art technology all under one roof.”

WESTMED Medical Group, a multi-specialty group medical practice, with headquarters in Purchase, is staffed by more than 250 physicians at its eight locations in Westchester.

WESTMED’s other offices are in White Plains, Rye, New Rochelle, Scarsdale and Yonkers.
