JP Morgan Cuts Voicemail For Digital Communication, Others May Follow Suit

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Banking giant JP Morgan announced it will do away with voicemail in an effort to cut $3.2 million in costs, according to Business Insider.

Voicemail will be eliminated for retail employees on direct lines only. The change suggests a shift to more digital forms of communication like email, and that the voicemail is going the way of the fax machine, Business Insider reported.
