J. Crew Issues Pink Slips To 10 Percent Of Its Workforce

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Clothing retailer J. Crew fired 10 percent of its workforce and named a new head of women's design on Thursday, according to Business Insider.

Approximately 175 employees from the company's New York office were given their walking papers, and former women's designer Tom Mora was replaced by Somsack Sikhounmuong, Business Insider said. 

J. Crew has a location at The Westchester Mall in White Plains and locations in Fairfield County, Conn., in Greenwich, Darien and Danbury.
