WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Tech giant Google is set to revolutionize cloud-based data storage with its new Nearline product, according to Business Insider.

Google's new product takes aim at Amazon.com's cloud service Glacier. Both products will offer storage at about 1 cent per gigabyte per month. Google's Nearline stands out because officials claim it can access the data stored in three seconds or less. Glacier can, at times, take several hours, Business Insider said.
