Astorino To Deliver Keynote In Business Council Of Westchester Series

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino will be among the speakers at The Business Council of Westchester's Keybank Speaker series Tuesday, April 28.

The series is from 8-9:30 a.m. at Abigail Kirsch, Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown. Tickets are $60 for members and $80 for non-members.

The provocative discussion with Westchester's thought leaders will focus on the county's economic future. Learn the ins and outs of "Navigating Westchester: Threading the Needle for Economic Growth," from top government, real estate and business leaders.

Astorino will lead off the discussion with a keynote address highlighting his "Westchester Smart" economic development initiatives. A panel featuring Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, Harrison Mayor Ron Belmont and Bronxville Mayor Mary Marvin will offer unique perspectives on economic development in their respective communities.

They will be joined by Bill Mooney III, director of Westchester's Office of Economic Development; Marsha Gordon, president and CEO of The Business Council of Westchester and two of Westchester's top real estate developers -- Robert Weisz, chairman and chief executive officer of RPW Group and Tim Jones, partner and managing member of Robert Martin Group.

Geoff Thompson, managing partner of Thompson & Bender, will moderate the panel discussion.
