Interesting that there was a recommendation to have AL receive home bound instruction that Yale later disagreed with. That report was never transmitted to the Newtown School District.
Also it is VERY interesting that in 4th grade, AL created a "Comic" book that advocated murder, cannibalism and other violent actions by a grandmother AND tried to sell copies of it to his classmates. Yet nothing was by the school system. Today, even the ubiquitous finger gun results in suspension from school.
Many people have described Nancy Lanza as "nuts" or a "whack job", but apparently she was following the advice of a psychiatrist who felt home bound instruction and protection from stress was best for her son.
It's too easy to play the "Coulda, woulda, shoulda" game, but it is clear from the report that there were several major flaws in the communications regarding AL by the school system.
