PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – A Cortlandt Manor man was arrested Monday after impersonating a police officer in Peekskill, according to city police.

When you don't require your passengers to buckle up, especially children, it becomes more complicated. I will not start my engine until everyone is buckled. I certainly agree that drivers who use a cell phone or text (?!!!) while driving should be hung by their thumbs. But it's easier to spot someone without a seat belt than someone using a cell phone. I'm grateful that the police are going after any of these fools.
